Dear Photograph,
The original photo was taken back when we were in kindergarten or first grade. This cemetery down the street from my house is where I’d first learned how to ride a bike. 16 years old now, we are all still all very good friends, although nowadays we are learning how to drive a car.

Day 11: Write About What’s Currently on your Mind
Serving God through Serving Others
How is it that there are a myriad of books, blog posts, and sermon series on how to serve other people, but none geared toward parents of very young kiddos? I really want to incorporate service into my daily life - and as a SAHM, I am challenged to figure out how to include my two-year-old son in the mix of it all.
Although, I suppose it’s not about finding ways for him to do anything specifically. Maybe I’m just using that as an excuse to not be bold in service. I know that he will ultimately learn from my example, if I’m willing to put myself out there…
To Do:
- Buy a flat of water bottles to hand out to people who need water
- Make an extra sandwich when we have a picnic lunch
- Bring extra clothes to give away
Well, I suppose simply writing out my question helped me to answer it. It’s funny how that happens.
